Hotel Ca' Dei Conti, Venice

I stayed at this hotel and found it to be a unique experience. The room was on the ground floor at the front door, which was different from the pictures displayed. It felt like a claustrophobic converted attic, with two floors and beds on each floor. The service was excellent, with lovely and very friendly staff who quickly sorted out any problems we had. The location was perfect, conveniently tucked away behind the noise of the main square but only a 5-minute walk from the main attractions. The dining experience was plentiful with lots of choices, especially the buffet that consisted of various options, served at a specific time. Overall, it's a mixed bag with some drawbacks but certainly stood out in certain aspects.

My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were cozy, quiet, and furnished in a lovely Venetian style, which I really appreciated. Although there were some initial concerns with other rooms, I found my own room to be much better, making my stay more enjoyable. The location was optimal for exploring Venice, being a short walk to San Marco Piazza, but it was a bit far from where I parked my car. The dining experience provided a variety of delicious options, although it was not served in the main building. Overall, a great value for the money spent.
